(130) German TV documentary on Shakespeare's Authorship receives the “Bronze Medal“ at the "New York Festivals" 2014

The naked Shakespeare“  (TV-documentary)

intends  to illustrate the history and progress of the controversy surrounding the identity of the greatest writer of all time

The documentary film by Claus Bredenbrock (first broadcasted march 17th 2013 ARTE / →WDR) received the “Bronze World Medal, New York Festivals World’s Best TV+Films, USA 2014”, as released April 8th, 2014, in Las Vegas at the →NAB-SHOW.

The TV documentary entitled „The naked Shakespeare ("DER NACKTE SHAKESPEARE") intends (as written on their Flyer )“ to illustrate the history and progress of the controversy surrounding the identity of the greatest writer of all time [William Shakespeare] and thereby illustrate both the current research as well as the popular-cultural use of Shakespeare in London.

The film makes it likely that the author had actually visited Verona, Milan, Pisa, Padua, Venice and Florence. This reduces the number of people who could be the true author of Shakespeare's work as at that time only close confidantes of Queen Elizabeth I were allowed to leave the Country.
