(150) When "Groundbreaking" Insights" are forgotten.?

Sir George Greenwood's "tragic dilemma"

had to arise :

His negation of Shakspere (Stratford) alone, in the long run, was insufficient since he had not delivered a plausible, positive "affirmation" of an alternative person!

Sir George Greenwood, English parliamentarian, Shakespeare scholar and lawyer in the early 20th century was the most important "Anti-Stradfordian"  (s.Blog 148)". He has written numerous books from 1908-1924 (e.g., 1, 2, 3 4 ), which deal with the topic of Shakespeare's authorship.
He offensively and with plausibility argued against the Academic School of thoughts about the identity of William Shakespeare (Stratford). But his "groundbreaking" insights seem nearly forgotten. His "tragic dilemma" had to arise :

His negation of Shakspere (Stratford) alone, in the long run, was insufficient since he had not delivered a plausible, positive "affirmation" of an alternative person! Together with Thomas Looney, he founded in 1922 "The Shakespeare Fellowship", to promote a public discussion and scientific progress of the Shakespeare authorship question. His initiative was not successful in nearly a century, probably and mainly because

"The Shakespeare Fellowship" had degenerated from an open discussion platform to a closed "Earl of Oxford Insider-Forum" , meanwhile called  "Shakespeare-Oxford Fellowship".
