John Kleiner Professor of English at Williams College gave a TEDx speech (s.Video), first published Febr. 2nd, 2014 which dealt with Marlowe, Shakespeare and the Jews.
The primary ambition of Prof.Kleiner's arrestingly speech (s.video!) - in the first place - seems to have been, to demonstrate theatre-goers in Christopher Marlowe's "The Jew of Malta" and William Shakespeares "The Jew of Venice" (later the Merchant of Venice", written some years later) how both playwrights in a very similar way were able to compell emotions in someone else and to force an understanding...
