Holocaust and the Shakespeare Authorship :

The war of words has escalated....

Richarard Waugman                      Gary Taylor
                      An Oxfordian                          A dogmatic Stratfordian

What an irony, if it finally turns out that  neither Shakspere nor Oxford was the true candidate...

->Blog 186 and ->Blog 187  informed you on the increasing rethoric violence of  Stratfordians against Antistratfordians (the non-believers of the Stratfordian theory)

Meanwhile Graeme Paton of the ->The Daily-Telegraph, Sept.11 2014 tells us, that the war of words has escalated, in which Shakespearean academics clash over 'conspiracy theories' . -

They trade blows over a paper of Richard Waugaman questioning whether Shakespeare penned his own plays, with a rival professor Gary Taylor   comparing the conclusions to those of a "Holocaust denier"

Prof Taylor himself has refused to back down, telling the  ->"Times Higher Education"(Sept.11, 2014) of the Times of London that Waugaman's work was

fundamentally unscholarly, irrational and illogical”,
reiterating that

. I compared it to the work of Holocaust-deniers not because the damage to Shakespeare is comparable to the damage to the millions of people killed by the Nazis, but because Waugaman’s work depends upon the same kind of conspiratorial claims. You cannot reason with such claims, because they dismiss empirical evidence as just another conspiracy. The idea that anti-Stratfordian zealots are ‘censored’ is ridiculous.”

The war of words has clearly escalated, with Prof Waugaman hitting back over a “lack of common decency”, while warning that comparisons with the Holocaust were “especially disgusting”.
