(188) "Nothing in Shakespeare is meaningless".- Noemi Magri: "The true Shakespeare" must have visited Italy.

..... William Shakspere from Stratford did not write the plays.

Noemi Magri

Noemi Magri, PhD (deceased May 2011), Italian Fulbright scholar (New York University, 1985) and instructor of English at Mantua’s "Istituto Tecnico Industriale Statale" (ITIS , State Industrial Technical Institute), for most of her professional career, taught English at   ITIS in her native town Mantua

For her last 15 years she conducted her research and writings required to produce her book "Such Fruits Out of Italy" (Laugwitz Verlag 2014), a collection of essays that makes a serious case for the idea that Shakespeare must have visited Italy, investigated before  also by other authors (s.Blog 66)

I  agree with Noemi Magri  that

"Nothing in Shakespeare is meaningless".
She exemplifies this with numerous overlooked or misinterpreted details regarding Shakespeare's intimate knowledge of Italy: its art, geography, politics, law, etymologies, and more. Collecting Magri's work into one volume here, "Such Fruits Out of Italy" is a treasury of Shakespearean investigations, and a victory of scholarship.
