(258) George Wither a pseudonym of surviving "incognito" Marlowe (alias Shakespeare). Believe it or not! (2)

It is highly unlikely that both  William SHAKESPEARE and George WITHER used the  LIFE MOTTO of Christopher MARLOWE!

     DUM NUTRIO  CONSUMOR

Marlowes Motto
on his portrait 1585
Quod me nutrit me destruit
It is unlikely  that within a short time  William Shakespeare and George Wither  used the  same life  motto of Christopher Marlowe
("Quod me nutrit me destruit")
<----Marlowe had chosen for his own portrait (1585) at the age of 21.

Shakespeare in Pericles (Q1-1609) and in his Sonnet 73 (1609

 as well as  George Wither in his Collection of emblemes (1635 Book I /Illust.15, Book 2/Illust.VI)  only slighty modified Marlowe's Motto (see Faksimiles and Pictures)

There is logic evidence  that both Wither** and Shakespeare represent pseudonyms of a single author (=surviving "incognito" Marlowe, in his "second" life),

** Do not trust-->Encyclopedias!
They do not tell you about a George Wither   born before 1588. I recommend George  Wither's  book : An A.B.C. for Layeman [1585] dedicated to William Cecil)
