The Oxford-Shakespeare theory experienced the greatest attention of all authorship theories.
Is this JUSTIFIED ?
Almost 20 years ago, "Frontline" broadcasted via a non commercial United States-wide local chain of transmitters (The Public Broadcasting Service [PBS]) a documentary on "The Shakespeare Mystery", which is now available, and also as written script of the film.)
The program made an early case that the most celebrated writer in the English language was not the man from Stratford. Rather, 'Shakespeare' was a clever nom de plume used by Edward de Vere.
The Oxford-Shakespeare theory so far experienced [unjustly] the greatest attention of all authorship theories.
