Gelferts shabby arguments(3+4) to reject  the Marlowe / Shakespeare thesis

Gelferts judgment reflects not only the size of his prejudice, but  also his marginal knowledge of Marlowe

Anglist and Shakespeare expert Professor [Emeritus] Hans -Dieter Gelfert, Berlin   wrote in his prologue "Who created the works of Shakespeare?" of his new  book

"William Shakespeare in his time " (Jan.2014 Beck Verlag)
B.Conrad The true Shakespeare:
Chrsitopher Matloer  5th Ed 1616

that he felt compelled, to counteract  the ongoing global  authorship debates, e.g.  of the Marlowe Thesis of   B.Conrad "The true Shakespeare: Christopher Marlowe " (2nd Edition , December 2013 )  ..he shortly summarized  five arguments against the Thesis. To this end he used consistently  his own prejudice. For none of his five arguments it would have been necessary to open and tackle the arguments of the book.

Argument 3
Nowhere in Marlowe's work, there is a touch of humor, while Shakespeare ..... .. among the Great in this field ..

 ....that's pure 19th century,  , it would be easy, to show Gelfert as many humorous or comic places in Marlowe's works, .. ..especially his hilarious verse-games;

 R.H.Fletcher (1918 Historie of Engl Literature ' Marlowe.2 .., in almost all his plays, and following the Elizabethan custom, does attempt scenes of Humor") see also Robert Logans Shakespeare's Marlowe“ (2007) .

Argument 4
".. Even with female figures nothing  can be found in Marlowe  that can stand the comparison with Shakespeare.

Gelfert judgment reflects not only the size of his prejudice, but probably also his marginal knowledge of Marlowe, when you consider just Marlowes female figures such as "Dido" oder "Hero & Leander " in his much smaller work.

Gelfert cannot have opened the book even once.
