The "one" genius of a poet ("Marlowe, the predecessor") ceased to exist (Mai 30, 1593)
before the other, ("Shakespeare, the successor ") entered on the scene.

Time table of Marlowe-Shakespeare's period |
All experts designate Marlowe as the most important "predecessor" of Shakespeare.
There is no evidence that William Shakspere and Christopher Marlowe ever met in London. There is also no evidence, that Marlowe and Shakespeare, both born 1564 two month apart, did timely overlap in their literary activity a single day!
The first literary work under the name of Shakespeare was printed in June 1593.
Amazingly not a month before (May 1593) Marlowe had finally disappeared. (1593 according to a first source he had died on the plague, 4 years later he allegedly was killed).
The "one" genius of a poet "Marlowe the predecessor" ceased to exist (Mai 30, 1593) before the "other", Shakespeare the successor " entered on the scene. (reflect on the Timetable , and ->Summary (doc-file))
Conclusion: It seems virtually impossible (or only theoretically possible!) that such a situation existed in reality.
How often does it occur that a predecessor is of the same age than his successor ?
Why academic Shakespeare experts never tested the Marlowe=Shakespeare Thesis, (at least as a plausible "working hypothesis"), that Marlowe's "alleged killing" was the consequence of an actual "conspirational" covert ("false flag") rescue operation of the deadly threatened poet genius, done by the State, in order not to compromise its "players "(William Cecil, Robert Cecil , Robert Devereux, The Queene , a.o.)
