(151) Jim Jarmusch about the Stratfordian conspiracy:

Jim J A R M U S H :(nr 38)

I just put Marlowe in there

because another great conspiracy for me is Marlowe’s death.

I don’t buy his death. It seems completely absurd ......

....one of the greatest conspiracies ever perpetrated on humans.

nr 38 Jim Jarmusch

In an interview of Online →"Vulture" of New York Magazine  American independent film director, screenwriter, actor, producer, editor and Composer. ->Jim Jarmusch was asked about the Shakespeare Authorship controversy?
Vulture: Do you believe in the so-called Stratfordian Conspiracy?

Jim Jarmusch:

Yeah, I’m a definite total anti-Stratfordian completely. (...) But I do think it’s one of the biggest conspiracies, at least literary, perpetrated. And one of the greatest conspiracies ever perpetrated on humans. I think it’s ridiculous. I’m not alone. (...).

I just put Marlowe in there because another great conspiracy for me is Marlowe’s death. I don’t buy his death. It seems completely absurd also. (...) the man William Shakespeare, I believe, was illiterate and couldn’t even write his own name from what we can see.
There’s not a single manuscript [or letter]in his hand that has anything to do with literature. Come on — how could that possibly be true? (...) They needed some kind of frontman. He got rich; we’re not quite sure why. He probably got paid off..... I’ve had Stratfordians get so upset I thought they were gonna burst into tears. I understand because they’ve invested their whole being into the mythology of this man. O
But the truth is that everything we know about the man William Shakespeare fits on four pages of text — that’s it. Anyone who writes anything longer, they’re making shit up. That’s just the way it is, no matter what they say. I’m not buying it. I never will. I don’t know if it’ll ever come to light or be proven. They did a pretty damn good job of covering it up.

(150) When "Groundbreaking" Insights" are forgotten.?

 George G R E E N W O O D s

“tragic dilemma"

had to arise :

His negation of Shakspere (Stratford) alone, in the long run, was insufficient

since he had not delivered a plausible, positive "

affirmation" of an alternative person!

Nr 13 George Greenwood

Sir →George Greenwood, English parliamentarian, Shakespeare scholar and lawyer in the early 20th century was the most important "Anti-Stradfordian"  (s.→Blog 148)". He has written numerous books from 1908-1924 (e.g., →1, →2, →3 →4 ), which deal with the topic of Shakespeare's authorship.
He offensively and with plausibility argued against the Academic School of thoughts about the identity of William Shakespeare (Stratford). But his "groundbreaking" insights seem nearly forgotten. His "tragic dilemma" had to arise :

His negation of Shakspere (Stratford) alone, in the long run, was insufficient since he had not delivered a plausible, positive "affirmation" of an alternative person! Together with →Thomas Looney, he founded in 1922 "The Shakespeare Fellowship", to promote a public discussion and scientific progress of the Shakespeare authorship question. His initiative was not successful in nearly a century, probably and mainly because

"The Shakespeare Fellowship" had degenerated from an open discussion platform to a closed "Earl of Oxford Insider-Forum" , meanwhile called  "→Shakespeare-Oxford Fellowship".

(149) A.R. Orage: an early, independent "Non-Stratfordian"

 A L F R E D  R.  O R A G E (nr.53)

....who developed his own theory

nr 53 Alfred Orage

→Alfred Richard Orage →(1873 - 1934) was a British intellectual with a broad spectrum of socio-cultural interests. (→1 →2). He became known as the owner and editor of the magazine "→ The New Age"(1907-1924). His books on Nietzsche represented the first systematic introduction of Nietzsche's body of thought (→3, →4) in the English language. Bernard Shaw described him as  "the most brilliant editor  that England had produced for a hundred years, " T.S.Eliot: "The finest critical intelligence of our day "

In his weekly column →1 "Readers and Writers" (initials R.H.C) of →"The New Age" , Orage dealt with a number of current issues, among others, time and again with the Shakespeare authorship question (1916-1922). Here, one sees in Orage an early, independent and autonomous "Anti-Stradfordian", who developed his own theory after the down swinging of "Shakespeare - Bacon" hype and before the advent  →the Oxford Theory by Thomas Looney.

Orage saw in the theatre actor-manager Shakespeare (Stratford ) the "Super-Editor", to whom the true poetic genius, whose name had not yet been identified, presented his work on the revision.

---Orage disagreed with the emerging Oxford Theory
 (including published correspondence). –
