(573) Annual Video contest has degenerated to a promotional event of the SOF

The Shakespeare Fellowship originally
was the name used by an organization (1921) devoted to

represent all alternatives to the Authorship Question

of William Shakespeare .

Unfortunately  it later became exclusively identified with the Oxfordian theory: promoting Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford
as the only possible or thinkable author of the works of Shakespeare.
____________
The original  idea and organisation must today be recognized  as
"The Shakespearean Authorship Trust".(SAT).

In 2013, Shakespeare Fellowship (SF)  merged with the Shakespeare Oxford Society (SOS) to become the "Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship". (SOF)

The Annual Video Contest "Who wrote Shakespeare?" taking place for 3 years now, (2017/2018/2019) has largely degenerated to a promotional event
of the S O F.

(572) It's not be expected that Marlowian Video Contest contributions get any acceptable ranking by SOF !

The Title Head of the The Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship (SOF) Website declares openly and outright that it explores the evidence that the literary works credited to the man from Stratford-upon-Avon were actually written by Edward de Vere, the 17th Earl of Oxford, using the pen name, "William Shakespeare."

In 2020 it organizes the
Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship’s (SOF) Fourth Annual
Who Wrote Shakespeare?”
Video Contest

                                                                 ( click Winners List)!!

Videos must be a maximum of 3 minutes in length and must present an issue that promotes reasonable doubt about the traditional attribution of the Shakespeare works. Videos must be predominantly in the English language and must be submitted by July 20, 2020.

As has been frighteningly demonstrated  (Blog 570) , it cannot primarily be expected that Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship ( SOF) will award a Video contribution   only committed to the Oxford Idea. This would otherwise cut SOF Community off its own branch on which it sits.

(571) The Philosophy of SOF. Isn’t it about time, to develop a more honest attitude?

Isn't it time to abandon
the unscrupolous "package" (A+B
of the SOF community and admit, that the primary goal of SOF

is not to promote the (yet undecided) Shakespeare authorship issue

but to  enforce the respectable, but most likely wrong evidence of Edward de Vere's
(the 17th Earl of Oxford's) authorship?

(569) From Oxford to Oxfraud: How the Inner Circle Undermines Its Own Case

The Shakfraud or Shoxfraud

Commemorating  Peter Farey

In the years since the O X F R A U D  Community  opened their Website, no  acceptable  attempts of counter-arguments  to plausible solutions  for a  plausible Marlowe/Shakespeare authorship problem have turned up, &  to refute the idea that the poet genius and literary Giant Christopher Marlowe didn’t write the unimaginable  literary Treasure  of the First Folio:

at all costs it had to be William from Stratford.

------------------
Marlowe astonishingly belongs to the "Untouchables" for the Oxfrauds,
they never appreciated Peter Farey's significant contribution to Marlowe.
(Secretly they must have hated Peter, the most famous "Marlowian!"of our days.)

I propose a Renaming of the militant and impressive devious Oxfraud inner circle to „Shoxfraud“ , or even better by combining both , the wrong Shaksper and the wrong Oxford

(568) Ros Barbers unfinished (or incomplete) Marlowe/Shakespeare theory

R O S  B A R B E R.  (6)

The (yet incomplete) Marlowe/Shakespeare  Theory

of Ros Barber

when listening to Ros Barber’s most recent—and highly valuable—recapitulation of significant Marlowe connections,( long well known for decades,) especially those involving Robert Devereux, the Earl of Essex, one cannot help but ask why she—despite believing that Marlowe did not die in 1593 and that the man from Stratford was not the author of Hamletappears never to have taken a serious interest in the continuation of Marlowe’s entire life: his subsequent fate, his later writings, and, above all, whether she can at all agree with the logically compelling thesis of  the

"Multi-Pseudonymity"  of Marlowe?

(567) Why that fatal and total neglect of a Shakespeare Authorship problem?

Clare Asquith‘s fatal  total neglect
of a Shakespeare Authorship Problem

Clare Asquith’s far reaching interpretations related to Shakespeare‘s „Venus & Adonis“ , (Op.1 - 1593)  and „Lucrece"  (op.2 - 1594) manifests that she has no interest or affinity whatsoever to a possible Shakespeare authorship problem:. Such a problem unfortunately and shockingly does not exists for her at all ! (s.also Blog 347)

Instead she argues that „Lucrece“ is „not about the rape of a single woman , but about the rape of England , as a "slow motion description" of the Rape of Lucrece: Shakespeare portraits in parallel the "slow Motion destruction" of the soul of the country !.

(566) Peter Farey recently passed away.

The "most influential Marlowian" Scholar of the last 30 years passed away in February 2020?

What a big irreplacable loss!

Without him I would never have gotten interested in the Marlowe/Shakespeare authorship controversy

The world owes him a great deal !!

(565) The unimaginable, gigantic productivity of the "real or true" Shakespeare

                                                                     (Recap on Blog 346)

The unimaginable, gigantic productivity of the "real or true" Shakespeare

Marlowe's [the "true or real" Shakespeare's] literary capacity  surpassed contemporary Writers beyond Imagination !!

End of the Epistle "Newes from Graves-end"(1603) by
NOBODY or Nicholas NEMO ,  the anonymous Poet!

<——The first (left)                    and last lines (right)  of the dedicatory Epistle of  "The Newes from Graves-end (1604)" of Nicholas Nemo alias Nobody

_______________________

According to the  expanded   ->"Marlowe Theory" the real or  true" Shakespeare wrote under a bulk of initials, pennames, pseudonyms, (such alias as  John Davies (BLOG 301 (2x), Michael Drayton s.BLOG 324), Thomas Heywood, (BLOG-330, BLOG 331) William Shakespeare a.o.), or anonymously, as absurd as it may sound at first glance.

The anonymous author of „Newes from Graves-End“ (1603)…

(Shakespeare experts  - as orthodox Gary Taylor -  with no real  justification assume Thomas Dekker / Thomas Middleton as the authors

…most likely was the poet genius Poet Genius Marlowe alias Shake-speare (not to be confused with the Stratford man : Shakspere.

In the dedicatory Epistle to himself (!) --- the anonymous author calls himself allegorically  at the beginning
Nicholas Nemo, alias Nobody -

and at the end devotes the epistle  " to  None but thy [him] selfe, Some-body".

This satiric wordplay ("Nobody") is tightly contextually connected to John Davies' epigrams  159, 160, 161 in the Scourge of folly (1611?)

The assumption that Marlowe , the "real or true Shakespeare"  wrote under an unimaginable  multiplicity of pennames, pseudonyms or unonymously, is hard to digest!

In order to be true, it needs the additional assumption,

that Marlowe's literary capacity throughout his long life  must have been exceptionally high and  surpassed contemporary writers by far, beyond imagination ...

This inconceivable literary efficiency and  gigantic productivity becomes visible in some lines of the epistle in the Anonymous book "NEWES from Graves-end" (1603)
